There’s no question Brazilian bombshell Adriana Lima stuns at the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Amazingly, thesupermodel gave birth to her second child (with pro basketball star hubby Marko Jaric) just eight weeks before she hit the runway! How did she whip herself back into such insanely awesome shape so quickly?
I never considered the possibility that I have oily skin. I always thought I had combination skin, and that my breakouts were caused by my bad habit of constantly touching my face. Here are some new products I’ve been using and loving lately:
Bliss No ‘Zit’ Sherlock Cleanser/Toner
I can’t believe I allowed myself to struggle with breakouts for so long, without realizing my oily skin was the problem. This face wash stops acne before it appears on my skin, and keeps my forehead from getting shiny like it used to. It doesn’t dry out my skin the way I thought it would…this is my new favorite face wash!
Astara Vitamin Mask
My friend told me about this brand when we were at a natural beauty store (Palmetto) in Santa Monica. This mask works BETTER then my current $100 Laura Mercier night creme. I apply this mask at night and leave it on, waking up to even, soft, wrinkle-free skin. If I am having a break out, it even helps reduce redness. I bought mine for $35 for 1.3 ounces, and am going to go back for more when it is empty!
Laboratoire Remede Hydra Contour Complex For Body
Neck wrinkles. Yes, this is an actual concern of mine. I’ve spent so much time in the sun without putting sunscreen on my neck, and I sleep on my side with my neck at a weird angle. This has created deep lines in my neck that I am trying to combat. I put this contour lotion on my neck in the morning and at night before bed. I recommend all my young followers do the same!
Acqua di Gioia
Last but not least, this is my new perfume I just ordered online. It smells so fresh, not as mature as my current Chanel perfumes I’ve been using (Chance and Coco Mademoiselle). It is hard to describe perfume, so you’ll have to go test this one at the beauty counter yourself!

She’s young, beautiful, and has a body that can rock the skimpiest swimsuit—yet we can’t muster even a pinky toe’s worth of hatred for Victoria’s Secret andSports Illustrated swimsuit issue model Nina Agdal. At just 20 years old, the Danish bombshell is already career-savvy and disciplined, yet totally down-to-earth.
We especially can’t hate her since she dished on how she maintains her wish-we-had-it figure, deals with burger cravings, and handles the pressure of being well on her way to becoming an “it” girl:

ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY may be known for her enviable figure, but she’s the first to admit that she works hard to achieve it.
“I love exercise. I was up at eight or nine this morning in the gym, and yesterday, and the day before. For me, all my confidence starts there – with exercise,” she told us. “It’s not just about being in shape, it also improves my wellbeing. I feel better about myself, it boosts my confidence. And that for me is where my beauty regime starts, in the gym.”
We’ve been dealing with record heat here in Los Angeles, but FINALLY we got some relief last week. It finally feels as if fall is here. This is the perfect time to embark on a soup diet. I am not talking water-based cabbage soups that leave you starving. I am talking about soups full of vegetables and fiber. Last week I made amazing Turkey Chili, and tonight I made vegetarian Split Pea Soup! Here are the recipes for both (click the photos):
